PONDER ... AND ITS DERIVATIVE PATTERNS
Ponder, a temporary installation, was my contribution to Caffeine: Stimulating Art of the Artists' Breakfast Group at Peter Jones Gallery in Chicago, April - May 2007. The Artists' Breakfast Group is a group of artists working in a myriad of different media and styles. We meet once a week for breakfast and discussion.
Subsequently, I used Ponder as the seed to sequentially grow a number of derivative patterns, one articulation of art becoming another. This can be viewed on www.wooloo.org.
Ponder was reassembled at Evanston Arts Center as part of Sheets, Planes and Pulp: Works on (and of) Paper, juried by Margaret Hawkins, critic for the Chicago Sun-Times.
